The Trusto Score badge

The Trusto Score badge shows that a company has its security and LGPD compliance continuously assessed by Trusto. It is always a link to a page served by Trusto, with the current grade and the assessment date.

The badge's two states

LGPD compliance monitored by Trusto - grade B

Shown when the company has grade B or better, the assessment covers most factors and the scan is up to date. The letter on the badge is the current grade.

Monitored by Trusto

The company is assessed by Trusto but does not meet all three conditions yet. In this state the badge does not state compliance.

  • Trusto Score grade B or better.
  • At least 70% coverage: most factors assessed, not just some of them.
  • Security scan completed in the last 30 days.

The rule is the same for every company and is checked every day. If a condition stops holding, the badge changes state on its own.

How to verify

Click the badge. It should open a page at score.gettrusto.io, served by Trusto, with the company name, the grade and the assessment date. A badge that does not lead to that address was not issued by Trusto. The image alone proves nothing: the page is the verification.

What the page shows

The company name, the grade (letter and number), the assessment date, what Trusto assesses and, if the company chooses, its CNPJ, each pillar's letter and the 30-day trend. The page never shows domains, systems, findings or the result of each factor: nothing that helps someone attack the company.

What the badge is not

The Trusto Score is a private, continuous assessment, and serves as evidence of a privacy governance program (LGPD, art. 50, §2). It is not a certification and it is not recognized by the ANPD, Brazil's data protection authority, which does not accredit LGPD compliance seals. The badge does not guarantee the absence of incidents either.

How your company gets one

On plans with the Trusto Score, an admin opens the Trusto Score in the dashboard and publishes the public page. Publishing requires at least 50% assessment coverage. Then copy the badge code and paste it in your website footer. Publishing is optional and can be undone at any time.

Using the badge

The badge may be displayed on the company's own website and materials, unaltered and never presented as a certification. Trusto may unpublish a page used outside the customer's website or materials, or in a misleading way, as the Terms of Use state.
